A great Italian bakery/restaurant in Chapinero The baked goods along with a dark Colombian coffee is the perfect pick-me-up for an exciting day in the Colombian capital. Always polite and welcoming, the staff awaits your return in the evening when a more hearty Italian cuisine is offered up. A Bogota staple since 1964, La Romana serves excellent Italian fare away from the hustle and bustle of the busy metropolis.

The food was good, the service was great and the atmosphere is nice. It’s a very nice place to go with family. I ordered the shroom cream with pasta and pork, it was good.

Fast service, affordable prices, nice atmosphere and lots of different pastas & lasagnas. Definitely worth a try I don’t recommend their fresh fruit drinks though. We ordered a mango juice and it tasted almost like water. But apart from this overall a good experience and good value for money.

Great place to visit with friends and family. The food is great and delicious and the hot drinks are yummy as well. Overall a great place to visit if you want to get away from the city noise and find a haven to enjoy a relaxing meal.

We went there several times and never were disappointed. Pizza, pasta, raviolis and lasagna all taste good. Service is sometimes a bit lacking. Make sure to try the chocolate cake :)

I had a nice lunch. Provolone for entrance and then a lovely pasta with puttanesca sauce. Fast service, too.
